Research:
This packaging was inspired by the membership cards from Speakeasies during the Prohibition Era of the 1920s, a period in time where the sale of alcoholic beverages was illegal. How the brand got its name was that “Tanglefoot” was another word for speakeasy.



The shape of the bottle is rectangular like a door, with a door handle as the cap. The label is inspired by a speakeasy membership card with the eyes peering out through the "g" is symbolic to the little window of a speakeasy door.
