N 10 is a project about the Portuguese modernity. The road Estrada Nacional 10 represents the real and contemporary country as a window of both rural and urban Portugal. Here is a transversal sample of our society.

Traditions are crossed with new social and cultural realities. It’s a road with its own and autonomous experiences, picturing ourselves at the same time. They are fear, apprehension and contempt, neighbours of love, desire and admiration.

All the pictures were taken between March and June of 2006.
