Put a little love on me - Album art

This was my entry for a talent contest hosted by @talenthouse for @niallhoran #heartbreakweather

You always stumble upon songs like “Put A Little Love On Me” when you are going through a strong emotion. The song touched a lot of different aspects of my suffering, something other than just Sadness. It's a whole process which we tend to overlook at times. Without constant mental battle and taking time to heal there is no moving on.

The aftermath of a breakup is messy because there is a void in your life, which all breakup songs talk about, the “I miss him/her or the memories” part. The void you feel is because of the change in routine, the empty space and the muscle memory of the things you would otherwise do with them. All you crave is the affection that you now lack.

“Are you all dressed up but with nowhere to go.
Are your tears falling down when the lights are low.
Another Friday night tryna put on a show.
Do you hate the weekend,
'Cause nobody's calling.”

These particular lines are quite touching and true as it's literally what happened to me, the result of a restless mind which gets very upsetting. Even when you sleep, you're awake! replaying the last moments. One day it's all Ray of Sunshine and then again a Rabbit Hole. It’s a big change with constant flashbacks. The little voice of regrets and keeping hope for them to return, to go back to your routine, convincing yourself they are the one for you.

The Artwork thereby depicts Solitude, Time needed to heal, and the Foggy State Mind and the Conclusion of all these emotions i.e. to let it all sync in and getting out of it One Day At A Time. Hence the Gloomy Tones with a Lamp of Hope indicating the Light in the Darkness.
