Here is a collection of a few different types of photos I've taken over the last few years.

In my spare time I love to go for walks and observe nature. This lends well to shooting photos with my 50mm lens because I can capture a clear depth of field and get some really relaxing shots.
Sometimes you can capture a really interesting photo on accident. I was taking a couple test frames to check exposure on my camera one day when I accidentally caught this really interesting image.
Capturing portraits can be a lot of fun, whether it is a nice posed shot, or a random frame that just gives off an interesting energy there is certainly an art to this craft.
Rain always creates a unique atmosphere for photography, with subtle reflections and muted skies the colours you normally might overlook in a city just seem to pop.
At a local garden there are a few hidden houses meant to add a little excitement to the atmosphere. They go overlooked by most, but when you take the time to focus on them, they truly do stand out.
Sometimes people will see me with my camera and ask that I take their picture for the sake of it. This St Clair College Business student asked me to take this shot before one of their presentations because they wanted to feel professional. I believe I helped them look the part.
This is Morris, a stray cat who loves to have his picture taken. If I leave my home with my camera in hand he will not stop meowing until I take his photo.
Working behind the scenes of a live news broadcast gave me a lot of experience learning the technical side of production. However, even in these moments I love looking for an interesting shot to take.
While studying Journalism at St Clair College, I've run into many moments where I have needed to capture images on the fly in situations where there isn't much time to plan. These photos were all caught spur of the moment and were shot on a Samsung S20 and a Nikon D3500.
