Interactive Project: "Flick to Win"
"Flick to Win"
"Flick to Win" is an interactive project done from scratch by a group of 4 students. This contraption is made with the intention of exploring the human emotion of "obsession". Whenever the player loses, they will receive a message provoking them, so that they would feel like beating the game and continue playing. When the player wins, they will receive all the money that has been invested and also a winner's message.

We wanted to show people’s obsession with winning when there is an incentive to win (in this case, the money). However, our machine is wired in a way such that it isn’t easy to win, so this would spur people to play continuously, to emphasise on the part of “obsession".
