For this second project I want to take the viewer through my creative/thought process. I was diagnosed with ADHD a couple of years back and it makes it very hard to grasp any one thought or idea at any given time. As I'm sure you can imagine, this sometimes makes it very difficult to complete tasks in our field. Although collaborative and creative environments are benficial, I often find them distracting so I am often forced to create my own environment where I can find focus, and I use music as my channel to do so. I want this video to take the viewer to this alternate reality so that they may better understand where my inspiration comes from while also discovering the deeper parts of myself.

 

Like the video below, I plan on having a muted color palette and using colors sparingly and appropriately thoughout. I do plan on having motion graphics scattered throughout but I want them to be more organic than the ones you will see in the video below. I want my color usage to act as a guide through this new world and to take shape in an abstract sense. Because I want my video to remain open for interpritation, I will have a very limited script. I want it to start out in a classroom environment with indistinguishable chatter that all disapears when I put on my headphones. I may have one line at the end when I am snapped back to reality but I am still unsure if my piece will benefit from it.
