"My dear Vincent''
This project is such a huge responsibility for me.coz i really really wanna convey the feeling of seeing Van Goh a life! For all the great things he had done for the world...this would be my token of gratitude for him..Well at first.  I'm still a beginner in this field(3D)...and this is juz my one-year effort in 3D...so there will be a lot of mistakes. But..I'll try my best to perfect my skills..and make sculptures far better than this one... I might try to avoid my mistakes too hehe.
Now..I'll share my process of making this Van Goh sculpture
First.. I try to sculpt the base model in ''Z-BRUSH''...but the thing is....its hard to find the reference for it .So..i try to gather most of Van Goh self-portraits and William Dafoe(from the movie ''At Eternity's Gate'')...thus base model was done.
After that I used the texturing XYZ data that my mentor gave me..and made displacement map in "MARI''...but another problem is that.. this is my first time in MARI.😂..so u would have a guess what happened next right.
Ofc..i messed up the textures..so I had to move to SUBSTANCE PAINTER and add the albedo texture..and balanced the skin tone and stuff
Then another problem showed up😆..MAYA..noding
Yess... I got lost with all the data from ZBRUSH SUBSTANCE PAINTER

and PHOTOSHOP 😂
But after that, I add hair and stuff in XGEN coz it's very nice for the hair ..but it didn't come out as I wanted it to be(coz of my lack of experience sigh*(...
Anyway I finally rendered everything and retouched it again in PHOTOSHOP
