The app is part of a demo piece that measures temperature, intelligently listens to the types of cries of a baby and analyse footage from the cot. The app’s job is to notify the parents according to the urgency, determined by the algorithms
The demo utilises the full capabilities of the Galileo platform which was launched at the event by Intel’s head Brian Krzanich. Galileo is an open-source hardware platform,in partnership with Arduino, for makers to create cool IOT projects with.
Galileo is powered by the Intel® Quark SoC X1000 proudly designed in Ireland.
