In 2011 Iceland began preparing for the nation's application process to become a member of the EU. I was very happy to receive the task of designing a logo to be used for materials related to the process. I see the process as a way for Iceland to become yet another piece of the great puzzle that adds up to Europe as a whole. Using that as my inspiration I created a logo based on the shape of the country, turning it into a puzzle piece that hopefully will one day fit into the European Union.
