Hy everyone!
This illustrations set came to my mind by accident. I was very inspired by the art of calligraphy and lettering for some time and I wanted to use it in my works.
Also, I would like to tell you a little about the process of creating these works.
I've gotten a bit tired of commercial work lately. I wanted more freedom not just in creativity, but also in the work process. I mean, I wanted to work without any plan. I didn't want to get tied to any particular style, consciously use a certain set of techniques, and so on. I didn't want to think about the story, how the characters would look, what colors should prevail in the illustration, and so on. I would like to get rid of such an mediator in the workflow as the mind.
So what you see below is a product of pure subconsciousness or soul (call it what you want). Please, don't ask me why the characters are black, why they are on rollers and look like dogs. I just don't know :)
