Un consumo smisurato delle risorse naturali e l’inquinamento del nostro pianeta sono le principali conseguenze del Fast Fashion, che ha creato un nuovo bisogno nel pubblico e, di conseguenza, una produzione sfrenata nell’industria tessile. Disporre dell’ultimo capo di moda non è mai stato così facile, ma qual’è il danno che causiamo all’ecosistema quando compriamo un paio di jeans? Uno dei tessuti che contribuisce di più alla distruzione dell’ambiente è il denim, in quanto richiede una grande quantità d’acqua durante la fabbricazione. Per poterlo tingere e dare un’esatta finitura al capo denim, sono necessari ulteriori processi che influiscono sull’inquinamento
The excessive use of natural resources and pollution on our planet, are the main consequences of Fast Fashion. This has created a new necessity in people, which causes an unstoppable production in the textile industry. To have the last piece of clothing had never been so easy as it is now.
But, do we know the damage we are causing to the ecosystem when we buy a simple pair of jeans? One of the fabrics that contributes the most to the environment destruction is denim, due to the huge amount of water it needs for its production. In order to dye it and give it a precise finish to a denim pice of clothing more processes that contribute to pollution are required.

Are you conscious about the footprint you are leaving in the world? The excessive consumption and production has made fashion an enemy of the environment. Under activism we want to show what is behind a simple item of clothing, to make people conscious and generate a change in the industry.
