For this project, I worked with an existing template created by a P+S designer to create a series of investment guide brochures for the client, Rathbones. This project required great attention to detail. I adhered to strict type rules in order to preserve established brand guidelines and to ensure consistency throughout the suite of guides. I also ensured there were no layout issues, such as 'widows and orphans', which might affect the guide's readability. 

The second part of this project was to create additional graphic language pieces, for strategic use inside the brochures, in Rathbone's distinct style. Rathbone's graphic language is comprised of a set of geometric shapes, configured in different ways to create abstract shapes that work as a on-brand visual signature. I used my knowledge of Rathbone's strict brand guidelines with my sense of composition to create 12 new shapes to use within the brochures. The shapes needed to be abstract and too not actually depict any recognisable shapes, but I also wanted the positioning of the individual shapes to have a flow and a sense of harmony.
