Sauron's Gauntlet and the One Ring
This started out as a drawing for an Inktober challenge several years ago. I recently decided to challenge myself (I'm more of an Illustrator & After Effects artist) and bring it into Photoshop where I recreated it.
The above image is the final version I settled on.
The image below is an alternative version I came up with after playing with a gradient layer and the various blending modes.
The sketch below was traced from the original ink drawing, which was made on a post-it note.
