Environment Paint Over [Assignment]

Introduction
This is a project we have a total of 4 weeks to build a 3D model mock up of an environment and then later paint over/photo-bash over it.
(2 weeks building a set in 3D & 2 weeks for the paint-over.)
Everyone got a specific environment we had to model.
I personally got Steppe as my environment.

For this assignment I made the 3D model using Blender
and painted the image over using Procreate.
Final Image
I am really happy how this piece turned out.
I really enjoyed the process and I think this was my favourite assignment for these projects. I love the colours in the piece and I am happy I chose to use sunset as my lighting.
Speedpaint
When making the paint over I started making it in greyscale, I really wanted to get the values right before I started worrying about colours. I used a few pictures in this piece but most of it is just paint over. I really wanted to have a painting look to my image that's why i completely painted over most of the photo bash in this piece.
Renders
For my environment I wanted to make a character standing on a big rock/edge of a mountain and having a big landscape beneath them. I wanted to make my landscape with a sunset lighting for more atmosphere.
The cone shaped item in the bottom left corner is going to be the character in my later paint over session. I wanted to make sure what the scale of the character would be to make it easier later on.
Concept Art
Before beginning the mockup I started drawing the environment and setting that I wanted to create. I wanted to make the scale of everything clear by adding horses and birds.
