The goal of this project is show the advantages of shoot in RAW and work on the photo to get better images.
The photo that I'll use is taken in this summer, when I went to Paris; it was shooted on the Eiffel Tower.
I'm sorry for my bad english and I hope to be understandable.
Step 1: shoot the photo in RAW.
The post production of a RAW file (using Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Camera RAW, etc.) is really better than the post production of a jpeg file. Work with the metadata stored in the RAW file allow you to obtain results that are impossible to have working with a jpeg file.

Basic photo: this is the "original shot". The photo have a nice "potential", but at this step is not so good. It needs post production to look better.

Step 2: post production in Adobe Lightroom.
This is the "magic step". Workin with Adobe Lightroom (or Abobe Camera RAW, or any other RAW editor) you can edit the metadata of the shot. The result of this step is, in my opinion, really better than the original. I love Lightroom ♥
Lightroom post production: In this step I've edit only the exposure, vivacity, just a bit the contrast, luminance of the colors and the temperature. Lightroom works so good editing these parameters; about the sharpness, quality and filter, I prefer use Photoshop.
Step 3: post production in Adobe Photoshop.
The results of this step strongly depends from the input image. Have a nice image as starting point is a very good thing, and Lightroom helps so much for this.
Photoshop post production: in this step I've change the colors, adjusted the contrast using levels and curves, enhanced the sharpness and the "global mood".
