A poster I made for the Bulgarian Progressive/Metalcore/Djent band Dash the Effort.
The concept of the band is creating music combining heavy riffs with ambient electronic sound, which creates a cosmic atmosphere. This is why I used a dark color palette for the poster, but added a lot of cosmic details and highlights to achieve this spacey and flowing look.
This is an artwork I created for the solo project of their guitarist. He wrote an instrumental piece with a djenty, ambient atmosphere which really takes you up in outer space!
So I thought that combining space elements with vector geometrical shapes, and hand painted details fits this sound perfectly. The song is called Moira (Fate in Greek) and this artwork, representing both balance and chaos, seemed to be the perfect match for it.
