KYRINI honey is a family owned business that specializes in nomadic beekeeping.

The logotype design is inspired from the ancient myth of the nymph named Cyrene who bore Aristaeus – the god of bee-keeping.

The packaging created is based on environmental principles, with the objective of developing a trusting relationship between producer and consumer. A variety of textured papers were selected in the hopes of encouraging consumers to participate in this effort.

For the purpose of distant deliveries, standard packaging textiles are replaced by natural, unprocessed hay, enclosing and protecting the product.

Photos displayed on the complementary postcards are taken by the producer himself and demonstrate the beekeeper in the process of igniting the smokehouse.
Hand drawn digital illustrations of plants and herbs that are directly related to the production of the honey, are placed on the wrapping paper enclosing the honey jar, completing the comprehensive branding and packaging solutions
