STUDENT PROJECT - PRODUCING MUSIC FOR A MOTION DESIGN

CONTEXT
During a student project in Motion Design in my former training, we had to make a video in groups of 4 with a theme imposed on each group. For our case, it was the travels in the future. We had to invent a concept related to this subject. As we had to share the roles, I was in charge of the sound design and the music. I challenged myself to make the music with an orchestral atmosphere and a spirit similar to the music of the movie "Interstellar".
I'm very happy with the music, I think it fits perfectly with the visuals and it's what we wanted as music.
THE MUSIC WITH THE VISUAL AND THE VOICE
ABLETON PROJECT OVERVIEW
The structure of the music is quite simple. A progression of chords with different instruments from the Kontakt VST that also arrive gradually to build up the pressure and the rhythm. All along the music there is a sample of clock to refer to the passing of time. In some places there are percussions coming from the sample packs of the artist KSHMR. This allows to make the transition between certain parts and to add dynamics to the music.
