A flock of birds flying at sunset across the estuary in Wadebridge (UK)... The sense of wonder and peace that descends upon us as we watch birds flow gracefully from one shape to another. Take a moment to let the colours, the sounds and the sweep of their flight wash over us.
Observing the movement of their reflection in the ripples inspires deep calmness...
Painted early 2021, during a Coronavirus lockdown.
Murmuration is painted on slub silk, using silk paints, then mounted onto a canvas sized 100cms x 69.5cms.
