In Lars von Trier’s film, Dogville, the environment is created solely by taping to a concrete floor. I started taping typography onto my apartment walls. I gave myself rules like von Trier gave himself in the Dogma Manifesto.
Truman Capote uses a lot of detail when he writes, but there is often more than one truth. You have to add up the details to create your own truth. I chose three separate items to represent each book in a series, but not reveling the entire item. I then let the viewer assemble the typography
