Colombian land of birds, Perspectives from scientific lecture towards an ancestral knowledge based on the artwork by MA+CH artists.

Colombia is one of most megadiverse countries in the world, its climatic conditions and tropical location are amongst the main reasons for having the greatest diversity of bird species on the planet. This natural setting has influenced the work of the MA + CH artists to establish visual relationships from scientific thought and ancestral cosmogony. The UNBIRDS installation is a visual and sound revelation of the biodiversity of Colombia, to communicate the message of preserving our environment in times of climate change, from a holistic point of view and as a responsibility to ourselves.
