Brachychiton rupestris, commonly known as the narrow-leaved bottle tree, Queensland bottle tree, Narrowleaf Bottle Tree or Kurrajong, is a tree in the family Malvaceae native to Queensland, Australia. The common name bottle tree refers to the characteristic trunk of the tree, which can reach a 2 m diameter. The trunk is usually dark gray and is marked by shallow tessellation and deeper fissures. Smaller branches are light green or gray, as are the trunks of immature trees. The height of the tree is less impressive, with a maximum height of 18-20 m, smaller in cultivation; the canopy spans 5-12 m in diameter.
