Team Reveals 10th Team Project 'Joy'
This time the Team were asked to create a work based upon the theme 'Joy'
To express through their art the feeling or experience of joy.
In these challenging times I thought it would be interesting and helpful for us to be aware of these moments and feelings of joy and to then share this with each other and others.
I would like to thank you all for your amazing response and for making this project possible.Your kindness and hard work is a joy to me, thank you - John

Title : Daydreaming
Description : I think in this challenging times, when we can do only limited things, we escape in our mind, into dreams. The word 'Daydreaming' has a bit negative mood, but it can free our mind and make us more creative, and a better problem solver, it's a kind of meditation. It's only my experience of course, I think it helps to bear this hard times.

Title : Joy
Description : "I’ve been thinking a lot about the word joy because I have been very joyful in my life. I have a lot of things to be grateful for.
All the pain in my life don’t define me more than joy. Sometime I’m afraid it might be different someday. That’s a really good question? So in the painting: I had to get back in my childhood and remembering a trip I had with my father and my brother.
It makes me joyful remembering to see the birds and being away from home. My father was a captain of the ship. I really enjoyed being with him on the ocean. So it’s a nice memory. It was nice to come back to the point of just being."

Title : "Be your happy place."
Description : I decided to create this simple cartoon so it could reach all ages, including children.
By using the city's landscape as the background, the images were placed close to the local hospital, health care center, schools and stores that closed due to the pandemic.
It's a simple gesture that maybe can bring joy to someone who sees them on the street. Or maybe just give them a new perspective on some hard times they are having... We are all struggling in these difficult times... And we all deserve our own happy place...

So, look inside yourself. Be that place.
