The brief was to develop
-- a diagnostic study of cluster with a socio cultural overview (caste/ tribe/ communities/ differences in their faith and beliefs/ major livelihoods/ use of traditional art of weaving etc.), design chronological study (Existence of traditional design/ colour/ season/ production of such design, extinction of any traditional design due to modern inputs-track of few decades),tools, materials and technical study, USP of the cluster, the strength and weakness of weavers in terms of skills, ability to grasp new ideas, enthusiasm, reluctance to change from published / unpublished material sources.
-- To assess of suitable candidates for C2M training program – Weaving entrepreneur & Weave design entrepreneur.
-- To develop a design and classroom training program & manuals.
