3rd space(s)- Third Space(s) is a performance series produced in unconventional spaces both within Center Stage’s building and in locations throughout Baltimore. Center Stage kicked off the first Third Space(s) productions, with The Container, written by Clare Bayley and directed by Johanna Gruenhut. The Container, which took place during the 2013 Baltimore Book Festival, brought a small audience into an actual shipping container with a group of refugees fleeing to England. I was task with creating a logo that would capture the Avant grade element of the Theatrical series, and a logo style that could be used for subsequent plays in the series. I was inspired by science fiction and cyber punk aesthetics, and I worked to create a feeling of the seen and the unseen.
