This desk build was for a friend who said he wanted something functional and industrial at which he can work.  A trip to the local salvage yard rendered the large rusty conveyor section that became the perfect top.  Combined with 30's era work table legs, a pair of file cabinets and a section of house from Old North Saint Louis for the shelf the desk came together.  All pieces came fromthe same yard, even having a piece of glass that was the perfect size!  That doesn't happen often.  The client the exact look he wanted and a piece that no one else will ever own.
