The first part of our final project in my Digital Illustration class was to take a real life fictional character and transform him/her into an animated version of him/herself. I chose Eleven from Stranger Things and while I was searching for the right picture, I couldn't find a full body image of her, so I searched up a cosplay image of her.

I then broke down the anatomy of her body into squares, circles, and triangles. Then, I changed her pose from static to movement. I gave her something of a sassy sort of pose.

The third step of the project was to refine our sketched character. I added the little speech bubble just for fun.

The final step was to ultimately create the entire character by using all of the tools we have learned and utilized throughout the course. Most of the components of my characters were created via pen tool in Adobe Illustrator.
