Acceptance
The purpose of my motion design video is to raise awareness about a social issue called bullying. Bullying is a pattern of coercive control that one child, or group of children, exercises over another in order to dominate and get their way. It takes place before our eyes each and every day leaving victims unsure of how to handle the situation. I want them to understand that tough times never last, and understanding is the first step to acceptance. Furthermore, I want to encourage them to talk about it, acknowledge their sadness and pain, and learn how to deal with this issue together because they do not need to go through it alone.
My motion graphic video starts off with showing how my subject, cactus being placed with the other plants. While the cactus tried to fit in with the other plants, the other plants end up bullying the poor cactus.
