ADVE3630 Web Strategy & Design: Site and Collateral

Site and Collateral Design

For this final project we had to take a website from a local business and redesign it to sell products, solicit donations, sign up for an activity or event, or get involved with a social or political movement. I chose to do the ramen restaurant Slurping Turtle. The ask for my site wsa to come to a ramn eating contest, which I made up. However, I believe it would be a fun way to get more costumers. Take a look at what I did.
Research

Below are 10 websites I believe work well for both small and large screens. Underneath these 10 are 5 websites created for ramen companies. I used these 5 websites for inspiration to help create a better website for my client.
Persona
After sending out a quick survey to my friends and family on what their expectations are for a website I took my results and came up with a persona for this project. Meet Andreas J. Walker!
*One key thing I received from the survey was that a lot of people relied on their phones (mobile devies) to show accurate depictions because of how often we carry them around.
Journey Map

For my journey map I decided to use the actual Slurping Turtle Website. I found that they did not have many events to connect their company with the community. Given the fact that was apart of my ask, I recorded my reaction as I went through the website.
Website Page Comps (In Progress)

Below are some screenshots of my in progress web page comps. I wanted to keep the design and color palette a little similar to the original but try to make the text easier to read. I used the program Figma to create these mockups.
