The Stories of Our Table
This project started in the fall of 2020 as a partnership between Pati Jinich (host of the 3x James Beard Award-winning PBS television series “Pati’s Mexican Table”) and Stand Together to conduct a recipe contest that spanned all 50 states asking people to share their favorite family recipes and the stories behind them. The contest was inspired by the idea that food has the power to connect people and bridge divides. The e-book showcases some of the recipes that celebrate the culinary contributions and life lessons of immigrants in America.
I illustrated different ingredients from the recipes for the cover and section headers by sketching and
inking on paper and painting in procreate.

I was responsible for design, illustrations, and the title, while vendors helped with recipe testing and photographing the recipes.
This was a very fun project to work on and I appreciate you taking the time to view it.
