This is a selection of some of my favourite photos taken by myself over the last few years. They were mainly taken in and around my home town of Manchester, England and various places I have been lucky enough to visit in Europe and further afield.

I find photography informs my practice as a landscape architect. It allows me to observe and record how we adapt and interact with the world around us. It also educates and deepens my understanding of some of the fundamentals of spatial design, such as form, scale, texture and light.

Many of these images were taken simply using my iphone though I also use a Canon G9 and a Lumix LX-5.
