A Collaborative Environmental Graphics Project in Miaoli Shin Yi Elementary School

In bringing the new look to its sports field, Miaoli Shin Yi Elementary School approached us to conduct an environmental graphics project for the stage front. We were required to work with three classes of 6th-grade students who took the work as a farewell gift to the school before graduation.
Our team broke down the graphics into pieces, and invited students to engage in the process of coloring and laying tiles. The project goal was to not only cultivate an energetic vibe through the large-scale playful colors, and distorted shapes on the sports field, but also create an experience in which students could learn about collaborating and creating arts.
