This is a project in the Filmmaking Principles for Instructional Design course. The project required me to create a video tutorial that was 2 - 3 minutes long. I was given a choice of topics for the tutorial. I picked "how to tie a Balthus knot". The steps included researching the topic and creating a narrated video according to information provided on wikihow. I submitted videos in three stages which included a rough cut, intermediate cut and a final cut. I wrote the copy, narrated the copy, performed the action on screen, shot each scene with a 2 camera shot including my iPhone 12 and utilized natural lighting as well as an additional LED light. I recorded the narration through a Shure SM7b into an UA Apollo Twin MkII interface with an API channel strip on the front end into Logic Pro X. The video was edited using Adobe Premiere Pro.
