The project was made as part of a class assignment about Brazillian Folklore: each of us had to choose a character from the myths and develop an art that illustrated that character. I chose "Rasga Mortalha" - in the North and NorthEast Regions of Brazil, it's said that if the owl flies above a house screeching, then someone in that house is about to die. The owl is a Tyto furcata, the barn owl.
