As part of the "Game Asset Pack" section. I made a Japanese Temple.
The requirement was to make it in modular pieces which could be assembled into different buildings.
The least modular part is the roof, which must be scaled down for smaller buildings.
The pieces had to be textured using albedo and normal maps to fake geometry.
The wood grain and roof tile geometry is a texture to save on performance in game engines.
The textures I chose were a bit too dark for the tiles, I wanted a brighter red or blue but leaned into the dark textures as they looked better in darker colours.
If I spent more time decorating the scene and adding a landscape I think it would look much better - but this is just a practise building and I'm done with it! May see more soon.
