Square and pigeons
"Wow! Going to travel abroad" exhibition works -17
Although the place that was actually named Pigeon Square is Trafal Square in London, when I was traveling in Milan, the square in front of Duomo di Milano was full of pigeons, and each one was very fat. Probably for the sake of the tourists were very generous. If someone passes by, these pigeons will fly all over and cover the sky, and the number is astonishing. The source of inspiration for this painting is this experience, it's just that the object that makes the pigeon fly is replaced by Plum.
The most complicated part of this picture is the square full of pigeons. The highlight is Xiaomei passing through the square, which is a bit chaotic and lively.
The color is of course a reference to the square in front of Duomo di Milano, beige buildings and dark floors, plus gray and white pigeons. It just happened that Plum became the focus of the audience.
