Concept: Toxic masculinity

Toxic masculinity is a term often used to describe the negative aspects of

exaggerated masculine stereotypes:

-Suppressing emotions or masking distress

-Maintaining an appearance of hardness

-Violence as an indicator of power. 

These are very visible in Lebanese culture. Lebanese men are pressured to act upon it.

Or else, they would be judged by society.
