Instructional Design Basics Training

With the COVID-19 pandemic, better designed online courses have become extremely important. CCD had to switch to a fully online model in less than 2 weeks in 2020. Unfortunately, the majority of our faculty had not been taught online, let alone designed online courses before. My role as the only instructional designer at the college became even more critical when in-person education was no longer possible. I had conducted numerous online workshops, one-on-one trainings, created handouts, video tutorials and many more. I also designed the Instructional Design (ID) Basics course for faculty members who completed Online Basics and Advance Online courses that were offered at the college. This is a course that is for instructors who want to learn more about ID. I facilitate this myself.
