A variable monogram and a fresh visual identity for Amanda Louisi.
As an independent designer specializing in brand identity with over 15 years of experience, I utilized a self-developed monogram for a significant portion of my career. This symbol opened doors to various opportunities, recognition, friendships, and established me as a brand designer. It represented me personally, rather than a brand, for almost a decade. However, as my work style matured, it no longer resonated with me.
GOALS & SOLUTION
Feeling the need for something timeless and flexible, I sought the help of type designer Thiago Bellotti to create a new monogram. The result exceeded my expectations. He went beyond the brief and created a logo that isn't just a brand but a living, variable monogram. It maintains a defined structure but can be customized without losing its identity, making it timeless and flexible - exactly what I needed. Inspired by this new logo, I crafted a fresh visual universe that better encapsulates my current values, style, and experience.
