A Taste of Home
Café interior design
What makes a good café design?
In my opinion, it's homeliness. A sense that one has entered their comfort zone - the feeling of being at home, at ease.
This café was designed to evoke such emotions to the users in the space through elements like décor, aesthetic, comfort, feel and touch of space.
The design of the café is modern rustic. The walls are left untreated with concrete and brick finishes to add to the rustic appeal with furniture pieces that are modern yet comfortable.
The booth seating incorporated within the café ensures that multiple users can use the space comfortably.
The entire colour palette is subdued with grey and brown hues being used throughout the entire café.
A brick wall creates the division between the dining area and the preparation zone which includes the kitchen and the washroom.
Ample sunlight enters the space and additional light fixtures are used to add accents within the café.
The wooden flooring, wooden false ceiling, accent lights untreated wall finishes with the wooden furniture are all elements that add to the modern rustic theme.
