SKIN

This project explores the relationship between garments and the human body.

The majority of the human body is covered in SKIN - the largest organ of human being - acting as a protective layer while separating the external world and forming our own identities.

In part, the skin can be interpreted as the first “clothes” we are born with.

By layering Andrea Grossi’s skin-like collection, it symbolises the human desire to modify their body through tattoos, piercings, injections and all other possible means.
