Automotive Portfolio
My approach with car photography is a bit abstract but not as much as my portraiture. I really enjoy finding backgrounds or environments that contrast greatly with the type of vehicle I am showcasing or photographing. I Absolutely love the aesthetic and mood abandoned or dilapidated locations give for such high end valuable vehicles. I edit my photos to be a bit cinematic/dramatic but I make sure to keep the car as true to self as possible. I do not apply any color changes or color processing to the vehicles. While shooting I make sure to use a Circular polarizer filter to remove as many glares and reflections as possible. In post I usually have to composite 2-3 images at least to make sure the whole car is as clean and accurate as possible. These vehicles are essentially an extension of the owner and I do try to represent the best I can.
