OPPO South Africa - Something Beautiful campaign launch teaser
With a tight budget and COVID-19 creating many challenges for filming, we were tasked with launching the OPPO A72 to the South African market. We often see unboxing of tech online in the same way every time. So we wanted to do something different, something that felt fresh.
We approached three different influencers, with three different creative backgrounds, that unboxed the device in environments that either pertained to some aspect of their personality or in an environment that inspires them as creatives. We launched this device with the idea of opening your eyes to something beautiful. Not only is the device itself beautiful, but it is also a device made with some of the best tech that enables people with a creative flair to make something beautiful too.
African Ginger is a creative that illustrates beautiful portraits of people and gets a lot of inspiration from nature.
Young Stilo is an influencer that gets his inspiration from the streets where he grew up and is very intoned with the street art
and culture, and Bee Diamondhead is a stylist enthusiast that has a passion for creating beautiful fashion imagery.

Phase 2 of this campaign saw these creatives making something beautiful after being inspired by the OPPO A72, expressing themselves through their various vocations. The films see us drop in on moments while they create.
