This project was done by a team of three for the D&AD Awards 2012. We had to repackage a Whisky Bottle to target mainly the females in this generation. It is commonly said that 'Diamonds are a girl’s bestfriend.' Thus, we got our inspiration from diamonds and revolved our design around crystals and diamond shapes. Also, We decicded to make the bottle in a shape of a perfume bottle to further attract women's attention. In this modern society, females are not only soft and elegant but they are also independent and strong. Hence that explains the dynamic look of this bottle design. It also gives a touch of Scotch whisky’s original look and feel. In this 21st century, Scotch whisky will be the next girl’s bestfriend.
 
The logo consists of the letter “D” and “G” combined to make it look like a crystal. “Trojan Pro” typeface is used as it has the dynamic & powerful look yet at the same time the serifs in typeface makes it look sophisticated & elegant. Designs in this century are mostly sleek. Thus, the packaging design has a sleek and modern look to it.
