Illuminating protector-Helmet

This is an illuminating protector-helmet for caves. The illumination located in the blue zone gives a new level of visibility. Its shape has to allow the illumination of the whole area: straight ahead, up, left and right. With this illumination power we can see more than we can expect. The helmet has two sides which are module connected with a hinge connection. This module connection allows wide usage by many people.The helmet has two big vents. The device has protection glasses which are hidden in the helmet. They protect from water splashes and insects. The helmet also has a safety mantle which is for protection of the user’s neck.

The illumination will be done by 8 LEDs. There will be 4 degrees of illumination: high, optimal, incognito and max (in this regime the power of illuminating will increase by 50 % in 20 seconds). This regime would be possible only with economic LED technology. Basic dimensions: width – 230, height - 224 mm, length – 330 mm. Main producing materials: polycarbonate shell, polycarbonate оptically correct glasses, Expanded polystyrene (ЕPS) liners, polypropylene straps.
