'O' Electric Kettle for HIMART 2021
Wireless pots are used in a variety of spaces as well as in the kitchen. The design was approached with a question about what prototype wireless kettle could fit in different environments. We approach various architectures that are easy to use by accessing the essential questions of the kettle, easy to clean, and maintain its usability appropriately depending on the usage environment.
We thought the most important factor was the cylinder shape that spread as we went down and the handle attached to only one side. We have arranged the whole silhouette by organising those parts as simple as possible. It also tried to accentuate the essential appearance of analog kettle by maximizing the electronic elements on its appearance.
Process
The prototype of a wireless kettle is a kettle. Initially, various forms were proposed as sketches, arranged by silhouette, and the architecture was refined.
