This is a magazine spread about the Mona Lisa and Francis Bacon's Study after Velázquez's Portrait of Pope Innocent X. I combined the images in order to communicate that these two great paintings are related. My article tells of how they are each powerful examples of the human desire to weave stories and form interpretations.
