National Parks of the United States of America: An Illustration Series
Still having vivid memories of childhood summer trips in the US spent touring these parks (I've been to 5 out of 12 destinations from 2004 to 2014), translating these famous destinations into graphic illustrations was an exciting (albeit challenging) project to work on. With the right push from my client, I'm glad with how they turned out
Sharing some of my favorite details about this project:
Most of the illustrations come in this detail- an animal commonly found in each park.. They're especially lovely to look at when they come in three's. (Left are horses on Grand Teton, right are bears on Great Smoky Mountain)
Some illustrations were pictured in sunset- so we get this beautiful hue of pinks, oranges, blended with sky blue.
