The increasing use of drones for security, commercial, industrial and leisure has made these commercially available drones gain vast popularity. While it may benefit the users, it can pose serious threats to public safety and security.

Approached by ST Engineering, Jexter and team have designed the lightweight SkyArcher Handheld Drone Inhibitor for a one-man counter drone operation to detect and disable threats.

Shifting away from the destructive weaponry aesthetic, the visual language of the inhibitor speaks of defence and protection. With rounded corners and extendable handle for a comfort fit across different operators, the outcome is one that puts the user before the design.
