Until I Bleed Out
In future decades, human sciences and technology will continue to develop, at the cost of serious destruction of the Earth's ecosystems, a sharp decline in plant species, elevated radioactivity in the ocean, and heavier air pollution.It would be difficult for humans to live without masks, and the population may plummet. Those who survive may feel confused about their existence, but the certain thing they all have in common is loneliness. In the devastated Earth, would you choose to leave?
若干年后的未来，人类的科技发展迅速，但付出的代价是地球生态的破坏，植物种类锐减，海水辐射，空气也受到严重的污染。人类难以离开口罩去生活，人口因此锐减。存活下来的人不知道是幸运还是不幸，但肯定是孤独的。面对满目疮痍的地球，你会选择离开吗？
The original intention of this work was just to gather things I like into a video. And to make the story sound more logical I just added more ideas onto it throughout the process. At the very beginning of production I designed a virtual character with reference to a variety of trendy toys. After that, I created some models of clothes, shoes and accessories. Although plenty of works were taken as references, I still tried my best to design a brand of my own, imagining myself in a role to make a series of feature films for a clothing brand.
The journey is truly an interesting and time consuming one. It took me nearly a year from the formation of ideas to the completion (and the production alone took me 4 months), so the whole process was much longer than I expected. This is a work representing my true self and I like it a lot. Hope you would enjoy watching it too.
